At Mount Pleasant, we consider serving others as being one of the most essential parts of our Christian faith. This is why we are committed to serving our neighbors across the street and those around the world. We accomplish this through serving opportunities, local and global mission partnerships, and short term missions trips.

The Foster Care and Adoption Ministry exists to fulfill the call on the church in Psalm 82:3, which says “Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. Rescue the weak and needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.”

This Ministry is committed to equipping, enlisting, and empowering the people of Mount Pleasant Christian Church to defend vulnerable children domestically and internationally through foster care support, adoption support and global orphan care opportunities.

We would love to know if you are a current foster family. We'd also love to see how we can help meet any needs you have as you serve your foster children. 

We are passionate about the call to go out into the world and make disciples of all nations. We have many opportunities globally to make a difference in the world and to share the love and the message of Jesus Christ.
