Change for a Dollar has been a powerful expression of generosity at Mount Pleasant. Because of our church family, hundreds of families have been impacted and over a million dollars has been given to meet real needs. As we’ve prayed and evaluated this ministry, we’ve felt led to take a step toward something deeper—aligning it even more closely with our mission to Reach not yet believers with the love of God, Raise disciples who are becoming more like Jesus every day, and Release people to live boldly for Him right where they are. Moving forward, Change for a Dollar is being rebuilt to not only meet immediate needs, but to create a pathway toward lasting hope—building relationships, sharing Jesus, and helping people take meaningful next steps in their faith.
 
While we prepare for this next chapter, Change for a Dollar is still an active opportunity for generosity. Gifts given now are helping lay the foundation for what’s ahead, so we’re ready to respond with compassion and purpose as soon as we re-engage. Together, we’re not just meeting needs—we’re stepping into something that leads to life change that lasts.
